Come to OSU for MFA in Graphic Design or M.A. in Art History
Come to OSU for your MFA in graphic design or your M.A. in art history. Graphic design
is a three-year, 60-credit-hour degree and will develop your expertise as a graphic
designer in interaction design and motion design while developing your research, presentation
and writing skills. The OSU MFA in graphic design is a terminal degree that qualifies
you to teach at the university level.
The M.A. in art history is a two-year program that consists of academic coursework,
independent research and supervised curatorial projects. With the program’s temporal

those affiliated with museums, galleries, libraries, visual resources management and
arts administration.

Graduates have gone on to work in the arts, teaching or pursuing a Ph.D.
MFA students work in media including print, motion and interaction design. Providing
traditional as well as cutting edge facilities, the curriculum includes a series of
rigorous yet flexible industry-oriented courses.
