With over 300 STEM faculty members, CAS has the largest group of STEM subject matter
experts at OSU. Inspiring our youth to pursue STEM careers is an integral part of
CAS’s mission and goals, which is why expanding K-12 education efforts is embedded
in the CAS Strategic Plan. CAS faculty and departments are essential to the university’s
STEM K-12 initiatives, ensuring students connect with specialists in life sciences,
