Living Learning Programs
LLPs are unique living environments that connect students on the academic and social levels to create a tight-knit community based on common interests, shared classroom experiences and access to specialized resources and programs. Students apply for LLPs through the admissions portal after being accepted to OSU.
SMSC Media House
Sponsored by the School of Media & Strategic Communications.
The Media House Living Learning Program, sponsored by the School of Media & Strategic
Communications, fosters an engaging environment of learning and success among students
majoring in Multimedia Journalism, Sports Media, and Strategic Communications, and
it will prepare you for a career as a media professional. SMSC faculty and advisers
will be involved with you both in and out of the classroom. Media House is located
on the first floor of Village D (previously located on the third floor of Village C), which is next to the Colvin
Center—OSU’s nationally recognized premier fitness facility.
Psychology House
Sponsored by the Department of Psychology.
Psychology House is sponsored by the Department of Psychology and is one of the College
of Arts and Sciences Residential Living Learning Programs. You will live with other
students majoring in Psychology. The opportunity to live with other students majoring
in Psychology will help you better engage with fundamental department ideas, including
curiosity, the scientific method, ethics, mental health, inclusion and teamwork.
Residents will also have the opportunity to engage in academic, extracurricular, professional,
social, and service activities with faculty, staff, and other students in the Department
of Psychology.
