B.S. Statistical Mathematics '83

Alex Bagby graduated from OSU in 1983 with a degree in statistical mathematics and immediately started work for the American Fidelity Assurance Company in Oklahoma City, where he enjoyed a 36-year career.

 

Bagby joined the company as an actuarial analyst and pursued his actuarial designation over the next several years. Currently, he is the senior vice president and chief product officer for American Fidelity and the division head for product management.

 

The alumnus is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and Society of Actuaries and serves as vice chair of the board of directors for the Central and Southwest Oklahoma chapter of the American Red Cross.

 

Bagby has been married to Kelley for 31 years and has five children and 15 grandchildren. He enjoys singing, playing golf and supporting all Oklahoma State athletics programs and has been a long-time football season-ticket holder.
