Dr. Tony Cho graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree. The South Korean native continued his education at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and the University of Washington where he earned his doctor of musical arts degree in piano performance. Dr. Cho was a member of the music staff at The Juliard School and the University of Southern California before serving as the current faculty opera coach at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
Dr. Cho has worked as a répétiteur, assistant conductor, vocal coach, vocal/instrument collaborator, recitative accompanist and administrator throughout his career. His wide range of abilities has brought him to numerous music staffs including the Central City Opera, Hawaii Opera Theater, and the Glimmerglass Opera.
