M.S. Geology '92

Barrett Cieutat became a member of the Cowboy family as part of getting his Master’s of Science degree in Geology in 1992. Cieutat’s professional career began as a geologist for the United States Geological Survey before joining a global environmental consultancy, Environmental Resource Management, in 1993 where he has worked for almost 25 years.

 

Cieutat’s focus has been on serving the environmental needs of the world’s largest O&G, Chemical and Mining companies in all regions of the globe. He has served on the Executive Committee of ERM, and is a partner and owner of the business. He is also a founding member of the T. Boone Pickens School of Geology Alumni Advisory Board and has served in multiple executive positions, including chairman of the board. He is married to Suzann Jill Cieutat, an OSU graduate from the College of Education. They have 2 children, Zachary and Casey, and they reside in Florida.
