Alvin Bruce Cobb

Colonel Alvin Bruce Cobb is a 1965 graduate from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He was a Distinguished Military Graduate and recognized as the OSU Outstanding Cadet. Cobb was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the regular Army and went on to serve for over 27 years.
Having served two combat tours in Vietnam, serving as the aide-de-camp to the Commanding General at Army's Special Warfare Center, and serving as a member of the staff to the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Cobb held every leadership position from lieutenant through colonel. Cobb's awards and decorations include the Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star with V-Device (with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters), Purple Heart and Air Medal (with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters). Since retirement from the Army in 1993 as an officer of the Aviation branch, Cobb continues to work and has dedicated his professional time to consultation work in the aviation industry. He and his wife of 54 years, Patty, reside in their hometown of Claremore. They have two sons, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
