B.S. Political Science, '80

Eric S. Eissenstat is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Risk Officer & Secretary of Continental Resources, Inc. Prior to joining Continental Resources, he served as a Director with Fellers, Snider, Blankenship, Bailey & Tippens in Oklahoma City. Mr. Eissenstat is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, is listed in Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, Oklahoma Super Lawyers (Top Ten Lawyer) and is a recipient of the OCBA Leadership in the Law Award. He has served on the Oklahoma Bar Association Board of Governors and was selected as the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer.

 

Eric serves on the Boards of Oklahoma Lawyers for Children, Leadership Oklahoma City, United Way of Central Oklahoma, YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, Downtown OKC, and is past President of The Luther Bohanon American Inn of Court. He serves on the Chief Legal Officers Council of the Conference Board. He is a graduate of both Leadership Oklahoma and Leadership Oklahoma City, and has received the Mona Lambird Service to Children award by Oklahoma Lawyers for Children, the 2015 Oklahoma Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man of the Year, and was a Leadership OKC Paragon Award Nominee.

 

Eric received a B.S. (with honors) in Political Science from Oklahoma State University and a J.D. (with honors) from the University of Oklahoma, serving on the Oklahoma Law Review and Order of the Coif. He has been married to Sandy for over 32 years and has three children, Chris (OSU ‘10), Katie and Magen.
