Alfred Litchenburg received his bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from OSU. He is the vice-chairman of American Fidelity Corp. and president of the Life/Health Group. He is also chairman and CEO of American Public Life Insurance Company and American Fidelity International Ltd. (Bermuda).

 

For the past 40 years, he has served in various capacities with American Fidelity Corp. including as an insurance executive and actuarial professional. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and has served on various actuarial and life insurance committees.

 

He and his wife, Jere, established the Litchenburg Family Scholarship for Mathematics at OSU, which awards scholarship for up to six OSU mathematics majors each year. He is active in the Oklahoma City community, serving in leadership positions for Leadership Oklahoma City, Variety Care, Eagle Ridge Institute, American Red Cross and the Children's Center Rehabilitative Hospital.
