Dilin Liu, Ph.D.

Dilin Liu received his Ph.D. in English from OSU in 1992. He is a professor and coordinator of the Applied Linguistics/TESOL program int he English department at the University of Alabama.
Prior to Alabama, Liu served as professor and director of the TESOL program at Oklahoma City University. He has more than 50 publications, including three authored books, one edited book and numerous journal articles and book chapters.
Liu has been a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for several academic journals and has served as chair of the Applied Linguistics Interest Section of the International TESOL Association (1995-1996; 2011-2012) as well as president of OKTESOL . He received the Oklahoma City University Oustanding Faculty Award in 2003 and was named an Arts & Sciences Distinguished Teaching Fellow at the University of Alabama (2013-2016).
