Bob Martin

B.S. Computer Science '92, MBA '97

Bob Martin was born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and graduated from Muskogee High school in 1987. He earned his undergraduate degree from OSU in 1992 and his MBA in 1997 while working full time in Tulsa.

 

Martin has over 25 years of experience as an IT professional across several industries including telecommunications, oil and gas, financial services and manufacturing. He has worked in a variety of IT roles, starting his career in database administration before moving into various management positions. Martin is currently the vice president and the chief information officer for Mid-Continent Insurance Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Great American Insurance Company. Martin’s passion and personal drive is centered on transforming organizations through technology and innovation.

 

Martin is married to Diana, also a ’92 graduate of OSU. They have one son, Aaron, who graduated from OSU with a computer science degree in 2017. In his free time, Martin enjoys hunting and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
