As a second-generation broadcaster, Brooke Williams spent most of her younger years working at Oklahoma-based Omni Media Group, owned and operated by her father, broadcasting legend Doug Williams.
Intrigued by various facets of the business, she went on to work in affiliate sales
at ABC Radio Networks, and later served as Regional Sales Manager for SiteShell Corp.,
Account Executive at Radio & Records magazine, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing
for News/Talk/Sports MediaOnline.
Currently, she holds the position of Senior Vice President of Membership for the Radio
Advertising Bureau in Dallas. In addition, she is also President and Owner of her
family’s Omni Media Group in Woodward, Okla. The broadcasting corporation includes
radio stations KWOX-FM, KMZE-FM and KZZW-FM, as well as KOMI-TV.
She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1994, and received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Journalism and Broadcasting in 1998. She is also a graduate of the Radio
Advertising Bureau’s Rising Through the Ranks women’s leadership program. Her mom,
Judy DeLozier Williams, is also a graduate of Oklahoma State University, Class of
1964.
In addition to devoting her career to her love of radio, she enjoys spending time
with her 1-year-old daughter, Drew Hamby.
