B.S. Computer Science '86
Lisa Wilson graduated from OSU in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in computer science, laying the groundwork for her career in technology and leadership.
Lisa first worked for Amerada Hess in Tulsa as a computer programmer and systems analyst.
Her vision and drive propelled her into her next role as a manager with Williams Energy.
Then in 1995, Lisa co-founded OakTree Software, Inc., a pioneering staffing company
that specializes in delivering top-tier information technology resources to Fortune
100 companies. In 2001, Lisa became the sole owner of OakTree, making it one of only
a few certified woman-owned staffing companies.
Lisa has led OakTree to become the preeminent staffing provider in the region. Her
commitment to providing work-life balance for her employees has earned her the respect
of the business community along with a spot on Working Mother Magazine’s list of 25
Best Small Companies to Work For.
An active member of the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of
Women Business Owners, Lisa resides in Owasso, Oklahoma, with her husband Bryan. The
couple has three sons — Matthew, Phillip, and Andrew — two daughters-in-law and three
grandkids.
A life member of the OSU Alumni Association, Lisa is a loyal supporter of her alma
mater and fervently cheers on the Pokes at every home game in Stillwater. She takes
pride keeping a deep connection to her OSU roots and continuing to strive for excellence
in her work.
