Jonathan Drummond

B.S. Biology '88

 

Jonathan E. Drummond, M.D., M.Div. is a 1988 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Arts and Sciences with a degree in biology.

 

While at OSU, Jonathan proudly served as Drum Major with the Cowboy Marching Band and was the Outstanding Graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences as well one of the Top Ten Seniors for OSU in 1988. Jonathan then earned a Medical Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma and completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He has practiced in Stillwater since 1998.

 

Pursuing a second career, Jonathan earned his Master of Divinity at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver. He is a Commissioned Elder within the United Methodist Church, currently serving bi-vocationally as the Connectional Pastor for Mayfair Heights UMC in Oklahoma City. 

Jonathan has served as the president of the Oklahoma Academy of Ophthalmology as well as a member of the Advisory Council of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has served on many state and national boards including many years on the OSU Foundation Board of Governors and recently chaired the Advisory Council for the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts at OSU. He is a passionate supporter of all things OSU!
