Erin Halligan
Major: Computer Science
Erin Halligan is a third year Computer Science major from Dallas, Texas, minoring in Mathematics
and Geography. Being able to pursue her degree through the College of Arts and Sciences
was a significant reason she chose to attend OSU, because it allows her to bring together
her wide range of interests and passions.
During her time at OSU, Erin has become involved in the CAS Ambassador program, where she connects with incoming
students as a representative and spreads her love for CAS, and Cowboython, OSU’s largest
student-led philanthropy organization. Erin has also applied her Mathematics minor while working in the Math Learning Success
Center, providing math tutoring to her peers. For the past few semesters, Erin has served as the International Project Lead for Engineers Without Borders, heading
a team of students and faculty working to empower an underprivileged community in
Guatemala through access to clean water. Next semester, Erin plans to pursue her passion for global connection by studying abroad in Loughborough,
England to complete her Geography minor.
