Computer Sciences is the study of the theory of computing and algorithms and their applications to solve real-world problems. This is a rapidly-developing field with applications in all areas of human endeavor. The discipline encompasses many specialized subfields with different theoretical models and focuses on practical problem solving. Courses in the OSU Computer Science program teach students the latest technology in software development with hands-on experience with tools and frameworks supported by learning labs. The Department of Computer Science takes pride in providing a safe, diverse, and inclusive learning environment that facilitates close interaction with faculty with the goal to ensure the success of every student.

REU: Big Data Analytics

Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) site on big data analytics at Oklahoma State University (OSU) is a ten-week summer program. The participants will engage in research projects in big data analytics under faculty mentors' mentorship and guidance.

RET: Research Experiences in Big Data and Machine/Deep Learning for OK STEM Teachers

This RET site at Oklahoma State University (OSU) will immerse high school teachers in research and curricular development activities to better engage students with AI topics like Big Data, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.

GenCyber

Cowboy Teacher Cybersecurity Academy. The academy provides summer camp experience for Oklahoma middle and high school science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) teachers.
