Creative Writers Association (CWA)


The Creative Writers Association is a student organization that exists to promote community and support among the creative writing students within the English Department graduate program.

CWA Events

Distinguished Readers

CWA brings distinguished readers to campus for readings, craft talks, and workshops. Recent readers include Ama Codjoe, Roseanna Recchia, Jacqueline Alnes, Lori Ostlund, and Anne Raeff. Click here for a list of readers who have come to campus.

 

Graduate Student Reading Series

Throughout the semester, CWA hosts readings where graduate student readers perform their own work. Keep an eye out for emails and posts on social media for the next Graduate Student Reading.

 

The Writer's Room

This is an opportunity to connect with other writers in the program to find places to submit your work and provide feedback to peers. Keep an eye out for emails and posts on social media for the next Writer's Room.
