We offer bachelor's degrees in Geography, Global Studies and Geospatial Information Science (GISci). In addition to earning your degree, you can:

Geography

Geography allows you to explore the world in new ways, giving you greater understanding of the field's physical and theoretical layers. From mapping to historical preservation to forestry, geography offers something for everyone.

Global Studies

Global studies educates you on local and global topics while learning about contemporary cultures and working with people with diverse backgrounds.

Geospatial Information Science

As a geospatial information specialist, you'll use spatial data for problem-solving that can’t be done with traditional maps and charts. The GSIS program requires a strong mathematics background and analytical skills.

Minors

Minors require 16 or 17 credit hours and are offered in the same fields as the BA/BS degrees in the department: Geography, Global Studies, or Geospatial Information Science.
