Kristina Rogers

Bio
Kristina Rogers is a PhD student studying 19th century Native American History. Rogers'
reserach forcuses on Native American women from the Five Southeastern Nation as slaveholders
in the ninteenth century. Her dissertation is tentatively titled, “‘But She Was the
Real Owner’: Native American Women as Slaveholders, 1800-1865." She recevied her BA
in history in 2016 from the University of Tulsa, and her MA also in history in 2018
from the University of Tulsa.
