Math Workshop for Middle School and Junior High School Students
The Oklahoma State University Mathematics Department and the OSU Student Chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics are hosting the:

The objective of the event is to increase girls' interest in mathematics in grades 6-9, assist them in the transition between middle school and high school mathematics, and encourage them to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM disciplines).
Participants will engage in hands-on activities through a series of workshops on exciting math topics and will have the chance to interact with other participants, math graduate and undergraduate students and math professors.
Who Can Participate?
All middle school and junior high students—6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders—are invited to participate. Students can attend on their own or in groups
Cost
The event is free with lunch and supplies, including a T-shirt, being provided.
Registration opens January 31, 2025.
