Patti and Ken Moyes Speaker Series

The Patti and Ken Moyes Speaker Series brings in industry professionals each semester to interact with students. It supports the school’s three majors—multimedia journalism, strategic communications and sports media—and gives students a chance to interact with professionals currently employed at the highest levels in the fields they are studying. Generously sponsored by Ken Moyes and his late wife Patti, these professionals do more than simply speak to a large crowd of students. They spend a day interacting with students though meals and other smaller interpersonal settings. Many continue contact with students they meet long after speaking at OSU. The event is held once each semester.

Speaker's BIO

An OSU alumna and Walmart’s vice president of corporate communications, Tracy is an accredited business communicator with 30 years of corporate experience. She is responsible for overseeing external and internal communications strategies that support Walmart’s U.S. business and their 1.6 million associates, developing company narratives and protecting the company's reputation.
