Undergraduate (Major/Minor)

• The first movement of a standard concerto, such as Capuzzi, Dragonetti, or similar pieces OR two contrasting movements of a baroque sonata, such as Eccles, Marcello or Bach
• All major and minor scales in two octaves
• Orchestral excerpt: Beethoven Symphony No. 5, movement 3 (Trio; mm. 140-218)

Graduate

• The first movement of a standard concerto, such as Bottesini, Koussevitzky or Vanhal, to be played from memory
• Two contrasting orchestral excerpts from the standard orchestral literature

Non-Music Major 

• Two contrasting solo works or one longer work with two contrasting sections
