Online Proctoring

A proctored exam is a supervised exam. Students are responsible for arranging a testing center or the online testing service Examity to oversee the exam process.

Students enrolled in course(s) requiring proctored exams, must have a proctor on file for each course each semester. Check syllabus to find out if instructor requires proctored exams. Proctors must be able to monitor the student throughout the entire exam.

Proctor Information

Students will need to find a proctor/testing center by the first week of class

  1. Students will select proctor by using the College of Arts and Sciences Outreach proctor database (proctor.cas.okstate.edu).  Once student has completed selecting an approved proctor, students contact the approved testing center to schedule their examination day and time.

  1. If a student would like to select a proctor/testing center that is not listed on the approved list, complete proctor form in the database.  The request will be sent to CAS Outreach team to verify, then student will work with their approved proctor to schedule their examination date, time and location.
