Syncronous

Synchronous appointments are in real time. You can chat with a tutor on our online platform, WCONLINE. We’ll go over your work together just like normal: reading and discussing. This option is perfect for people who have a lot of questions, enjoy hands-on learning, or simply learn best through flexible conversation.

Hours:

Monday-Friday (when available)

9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.

How to Schedule:

Writers need to make an appointment, on a schedule that offers online synchronous options.

Getting Feedback:

At the appointment time, log on and click on your appointment slot. There will be a link on the appointment confirmation screen that says, “Start or Join Online Session.” You will be directed to a separate tab with audio/visual communication, a whiteboard to copy-paste your project, and a chat box. Your tutor will meet with you via this online format at the appointment time.

E-Tutoring Asyncronous

In an asynchronous appointment, you’ll upload a document and receive feedback from a tutor within 48 hours of your chosen time slot. You’ll receive embedded comments within your paper and an advice letter at the end of your document. This option is great for people who learn well following written material or who have jam-packed schedules.

Hours:

Monday-Wednesday (when available)

9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.

How to Schedule:
