Flowering Time in the Grasses:

Developmental-, Evolutionary- and Ecological-Genetic Approaches

Hao Hu, Kathy Toll, Margarita Mauro-Herrera

The  genetic network controlling the time of flowering of plant species is very well studied, but varies significantly between taxa. We are interested in the evolution of the flowering time network in the grasses, and in the ecological implications of local adaptation within Setaria.
