Morgan Mason

Bio
Morgan is a graduate student in the Sociology Department at Oklahoma State University. A native of Oklahoma, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Studies Education from Oklahoma State University in 2018. Before starting graduate school, she taught social studies in Oklahoma’s public schools for six years, including three years teaching Advanced Placement U.S. History and Human Geography. In addition to classroom teaching, she was involved in student organizations, curriculum development, domestic and international experiential learning programs, and mentoring future educators.
Morgan’s research focuses on the connections between education, politics, and student outcomes, particularly how education fosters civic engagement and cross-cultural understanding. She is also involved in research examining agricultural security and exploring how disruptions impact communities.
