Graduate Studies in the Department of English at Oklahoma State University is unique
for its interdisciplinary range and individualized curricula. We offer graduate degrees
in English with specializations in five areas: Creative Writing, Literature, Rhetoric
and Writing Studies, Screen Studies, and Teaching English as a Second Language and
Linguistics.

Our graduate students work with nationally and internationally recognized faculty. In all of our degree programs, students collaborate with their advisors to create
individualized programs of study reflecting their own intellectual and creative interests
while working towards their unique professional goals.

Did you know OSU has a learning center in Taos, New Mexico?
The Doel Reed Center in Taos is an educational site that extends Oklahoma State University's
reach to culturally rich northern New Mexico. Located in the former home and studio
of Doel Reed, a noted print-maker and founding chair of OSU's's art department, the Center is
a hub for creativity in teaching, research and outreach. There are scholarships available
to assist with the cost of taking a course.
