Study History at OSU

Because history is...
more than just a collection of facts about the past. History is community, debate, identity. History is our map to the present. Students can pursue the B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in History alongside faculty who have earned a reputation for excellence in teaching, public engagement and scholarship. With courses covering all geographic spaces and time periods and specializations in the American West, Native American history and public history, students with a wide variety of interests and career goals will find a home in the Department of History.
