October 24-30, 2024

Julius visits the Table Stable Ltd. in Mettmenstetten, Switzerland! Julius is visiting to get trained on the old TFP-1 that has now been upgraded to the TFP-2 HC.  Many thanks to John Sandercock, Filippo Scarponi, and the entire team!

Durham Magneto Optics visits our lab in Stillwater! Our lab is delighted to receive our Magneto Optical Kerr Effect Microscope, the NanoMOKE3.  Many thanks to Álvaro Durán and Jesse Alonzo for their hard work and generosity in training the group on how to use our new NanoMOKE3!

The trusty AJA-1800F has been given some TLC and, after 2 years down, is back online and working nicely! Base pressure is down to 40 nTorr, and all 5 sputtering targets work like a charm.
